Why film my wedding?
Any good photographer will tell you, the only thing you can take away from your wedding day are the memories.
There is nothing that compares to a professionally edited video to help capture the images, emotions, and conversations on your wedding day. Our high quality professional equipment will really make a difference to this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

How do I choose a good videographer?

There are a few things to consider in choosing a good videographer for your wedding.
We recommend that above all, you want to feel comfortable with them. After all, they will be capturing your day, and will be close by throughout all the most important moments. Beyond that, the things to consider are, their level of experience, equipment, previous work, what others have to say about them, and the way they work with the other important people on the day.

What equipment do you use?
We use a variety of camera operators and gear, but all our gear is professional grade EX1 or EX3 camera gear.
Sound recording is done with wireless microphones which are clipped inside the vest or jacket of the groom.
We also use a variety of other pieces of specialty equipment to enhance the final product, like sliders and jibs.

Can we discuss the wedding beforehand?
Of course, we love to meet with you personally over a coffee and discuss the plans you have for the day in detail.
We can gain a better understanding of what you have in mind, what's important to you, and how we can best bring the day to life.
If for some reason, you're unable to meet, we're happy to consult with you over the phone any time.

What is the difference between the packages?
Filmtime Wedding packages are tailored to brides who have a specific desire to create a magical day.
While we understand that not every couple can afford our services, we have made a decision not to compromise on the quality of our product. These are the kind of packages we would want to have for our own wedding, so that's what we decided to create for you.

How will you work with the photographer?
We love working with your photographer, and can happily supply one for you if you're looking for someone great.
If you have your own photographer, talk to them, and let them know that you'll be having the day filmed. We are easy to work with, and we will discuss the day with them prior to the shoot, to make sure we all get what we need together, for you.

What about working with the Celebrant?
Again, talk with your celebrant, let them know that we'll be there, sharing the day with everyone, and if there's anything important that we need to know, or tell them, we can do so in advance.

How far will you travel?
The packages we offer are for weddings based in Melbourne.
We're happy to travel for you on your special day, so if there's going to be a fee for travel beyond that, we'll discuss it with you and work out a solution that fits.

Do you attend our rehearsal?
While it's not included in any of our packages, couples are welcome to invite us along, for a small fee.

What music will be on my video?
Most couples have significant songs selected for their wedding day.
Where possible, we love to include those throughout the final product.
Where something more appropriate is required, we'll discuss it with you, and if needed, can select something from our catalogue of tracks for you.

How long will it be until we recieve the DVD copy for ourselves, friends and family?
You can expect to wait about 6-8 weeks for your finished product.
We will also post a shorter version online for you to share with loved ones.

How do I get you to film at my wedding?
Call us, we'll send you the booking contract.
Once we receive a 30% deposit, the booking is secured.
